I don't think I could unsolder all those components without damage! The LEDs and switches don't cost that much to buy new.
Still you do save the cost of the case itself. What I did was to buy all the components, including the case, build the 8800c from scratch and
sell the Clone online. That almost completely paid for my 8800c.

Not these switches! The APEM switches can be expensive! They are approximate $5.00 per a piece. With the machine front panel's switches count comes to 25. And, multiply it together, it is $125.00. Not very good deal for a sweet gentleman who lives on his own very limited fixed income!

I can deal with these LEDs. They can be reused somewhere on another electronic projects.

I have a Hakko FR300 desoldering tool. https://www.hakkousa.com/products/desol ... -tool.html I have no problem removing components, which included ICs, from the printed circuit boards. :-)
