sending file from computer to altair in ALTAIR DOS?

Hile PCGET works perfectly in CPM I don't know how to send a file from the computer using Altair DOS.
any help?

Presently there is not an XMODEM or PCGET/PCPUT equivalent that runs under Altair DOS or Altair BASIC. I've had plans to write such utilities for years though.

You can get a text file into Altair DOS by editing a blank file and sending the text file using a terminal emulator. You'll have to set a delay per character and a delay per line in the terminal emulator, but I don't remember what values worked.
