The Other Aux Switch on the front panel

Post by Drunkle »

After spending some quality time looking under the cover of my new Altair 8800 Clone, I noted that the second AUX switch labeled S9 is connected only to an empty connector location labeled J6. I am thinking of populating this connector and using the second AUX switch for a fun little project which, if all goes as planned, I will share with you all later on this forum. So is there any future plan for the use of the second AUX switch (S9)? Will there be any issues with me populating J6 with a connector and using it?

No "Altair" plans for the right Aux switch. I figured someone might want to use right Aux and J6 as a power and/or reset jumper for a PC motherboard, for example.

Also any plans for the extra holes in the bottom of the case? Looks like they are for an ATX mother board?
