I've started going through all of my S-100 stuff, including my Altair. I found a board among the loose S-100 cards that *appears* to be an extension backplane for the Altair 8800, but I'm not sure. Here's pics:

Yea or nay?
There's an "M" on it, but I'm not sure if that means it's MITS, or just a cloner.
The 8800 I have only has a four slot backplane in it and I'd likely replace that instead of trying to stitch on this extension.. :)
tnx!

Re: Original Altair backplane extension?
That is a very interesting board. I don’t recall seeing it as a MITS product. It looks like the logo is an “M” inside a “C” maybe?
