C for 8080 CP/M

Post by ribarrjr »

I have recently been learning AZTEC C on my Altair Clone. I also saw in a previous thread that BDS C would also work for the 8080 under CP/M. I was wondering if anybody had tried both and which one they might prefer or if they have another compiler they might like using. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've used both and I prefer Aztec C.

BDS C has some unusual constructs but it's historically interesting.

Aztec supports more datatypes and also supports memory overlays. Much more full-featured.
