I'm not sure I've understood the power supply.
Is it powered by a 12V external source (to be provided by the user)? Or mains?

The Altair Clone is powered by the AC mains (see rear view photo on the home page). We can supply the computer with the proper plug and voltage for the US, Australia, Europe, the UK, etc.
