Clone hangs after Insert/Save floppy

I am following the instructions in the clone operators manual to insert & save floppies to the PC. Everything works OK, Xmodem transfers the data, and I switch to 9600 baud and exit out of the configuration monitor menus. After pressing "X" to "Exit to Altair" the clone seems to be hung up and doesn't respond to the keyboard. If I inserted a new floppy, when I reset the clone and reload CP/M, I can see the new floppy.

Are you in CP/M at the command prompt when you stop the machine to load another floppy or are you running a program at that point? Also, when you "Exit to Altair," note that the Altair is still in a stopped state and you have to depress the RUN switch on the front panel in order to resume execution.

Thanks. Depressing the Run switch solved the issue. I didn't realize that the Altair was stopped. I guess I figured the combination of STOP & left Aux was just an interrupt.
