MITS Accounting Software

A major thrust at MITS and Pertec in the late 70's was to move the Altair product line from being a hobbyist computer to being a small business computer. Development of accounting software was a major component of this plan. This accounting software for the Altair later became the very popular Peachtree line of accounting software.
