In this video the Altair 8800 is used as a generator and controller.
The RAM is dumped out to the serial port with the aid of an assembly player program loaded from the pROM.
The data comes out at 9600 Baud N81and it is interpreted by 8 oscillators that set their frequency accordingly.
The sense switches OR the data so that the notes are shifted and set at different intervals.
Sound programming on MaxMSP, Altair Programming with WS editor and ASM assembler under CP/M 2.2.
The data in RAM can be recorded using a binary converter in Max, let be degraded by turning off/on the computer, or play back the true random junk that pops up in RAM, whenever the Altair is turned on.
Interesting whole tone nuances in some points.

Thank you Synoptic!
Still at an early stage, but I like what I've heard so far. :)
