Just starting an 8800c build - 9 slot motherboard questions

I noticed in Mike's video he mentions not making the motherboard active, but leaving it passive. What components should be loaded on the board then? Power connector? Fuses? Any capacitors?

I have just the power connectors (and S-100 sockets, of course!) on mine. Nothing else. It's been working fine with eight boards on it for a couple years now.

Altair 8800 CPU board
Mike's FP interface board
FDC+ board (64K RAM and floppy interface)
Altair 88-UIO board with serial and cassette interface
Altair 88-VI RTC interrupt/RTC board
Altair 88-C700 printer interface board
Two 88-2SIOJP serial boards

Yes, Tom is correct, only S-100 connectors and the power connector. You can jumper across the fuse locations since your switching supplies will protect themselves and the downstream circuits.
