Addition of the 88-VI/RTC Vectored Interrupt Board

Postby AltairClone » August 9th, 2013, 8:27 pm

The Altair 8800 Clone now includes the functionality of the 88-VI/RTC Vectored Interrupt/Real-Time Clock board. While not widely used by most commercial software, it was required by Timesharing BASIC for the Altair.

Information about interrupt support in the Altair Clone has been added to the overview on the AltairClone.com home page and on the "Details" page.

Several links on the support page (http://altairclone.com/support.htm) have been updated to reflect the addition of the 88-VI/RTC Vectored Interrupt Board to the Altair Clone and the addition of Timesharing BASIC in the library of software available:

Altair Clone Operator's Manual
Altair Clone Firmware Ver 1.3
Original Altair and CP/M Manuals (Timesharing BASIC manual added)
Altair BASIC (Timesharing BASIC floppy disk added)

Altair Clone owners that want to update the firmware in their computer, feel free to contact me with any questions.
